Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress popular for her role in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama''Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On as well as Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". She is also known for being the main character in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin was the daughter of a department shop buyer and an elementary school teacher. Her first acting experience was in the age of seven when her Aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's household, assisted Martin to be in the television show Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed important roles on the small screen and the large screen. Apart from being an actor, Martin is also a talented photographer, as well as a ballet dancer. Mother of two daughters, she's the Lupus spokesperson and spreads awareness of the disease every day since the death of her sister when she was age 19.
